For the ArtSpots Trading Post. One of Jonas' interests mentioned was Philip Pullman and I couldn't help poking fun at the recent Golden Compass controversy.
christans are pretty much the sterotypical religous ppl, they'll riot and boycot on something they don't like, just like how the steryotypical jewish person will try 2 save monney. I like the drawing and I loved the book. I dislike ppl with closed minds...
I loved the books and Pullman is right in many things. Religious people burn books because they consider them anti-religious. When did atheists burn Bibles and stuff? Never. So much for fanatism. And I AM a Christian but one who looks upon the world with open eyes...
Personally, I chose not to read/watch it on account of what he said about killing God, but if someone else wants to read it anyway, I don't particularly care. I mean, there are lots of athiestic nutjobs in the world, and I have other things to worry about... like paying for college.
Not all atheists are nutjobs and I certainly don't think writing a fictional story about a corrupt religious situation qualifies someone as being called a nutjob.
What I meant in saying "athiestic nutjobs" was that there are athiests who are nutjobs and like to ram ideas down people's throat, and the writer of the book doesn't need any special negative attention. Sorry to sound intolerant or anything.
Havent seen the movie yet, but loooooooooooove the book <3333
