The madness continues...
There were two quotations from the movie I felt the need to illustrate. This was one of them. Pretty bland and generic and sadly the most creative part, the quotation, is not mine. This was more of a practice doodle to get a feel for the character. And mostly because I just wanted an excuse to color shiney hair and gloves. I promise to make up for it with the next one I have in mind. There will be colors. Lots and lots of colors.
Willy Wonka (c) Roald Dahl and whoever else has ownership of him at this point.
Edit: Just to clarify, that's not a misspelling of "edible," he says "eatable" in the film. Thank you, though, to those of you who're keeping an eye out for typos, since I do tend to make them a lot.
Edit2: Because people seem to love this so much, I decided to make a print. That should be up shortly if it's not already.
POMG!! I totally loved that line!! You did a great job capturing the expression he had when he said it too!! *loves JD as Willy Wonka for some reason* Eatable!! LOL *gnaws on it*
AH. I haven't even seen this movie yet, but I saw that quote in a trailer and it's my favourite. And will remain my favourite, I can guarantee, even once I see the movie. <3 Awesome picture. -favourites-

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
