I finally colored it!
Original desc: Did this for my illustration class, and I think my hand needs a week to recover. I'm not entirely thrilled with the result but my teacher likes it, so who am I to complain? There's so much personal symbolism in this that I'm not even going to bother trying to explain it all. If you get some of it, congratulations, if you don't, I apologize, if you're curious about specific things, feel free to ask questions. In brief summary, each of those kalnarin characters represents someone who has played a significant role in my life over the past few years. There are probably tons of people missing obviously, I could only fit so many in. It's mostly people I know in person, but you may or may not notice I also stuck one or two people I know online, two fictional characters from something that's very important to me, and my two favorites of my own characters. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 23h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. |
