Sirius Black is Teh Rulest

It's one of -those- days. Those rare and elusive days when I draw something...human! And actually like it too. There's a rare occurance.

I've been in a Sirius mood since I saw PoA, plus I finally finished reading GoF yesterday, so I had to draw some fanart. Sirius is my favorite of all, and the movie version was pretty much how I pictured him (plus I adore Gary Oldman) so I based this off of that.

I've finally given up on my scanner as far as sketches with lots of shading go, used my digital camera for this. I need a new scanner, one that actually picks up light pencil marks.

Edit: Just a note for all the people saying "But Sirius is supposed to be hotter than that!" I most certainly agree, but keep in mind, after being dirty and unshaven and living in a prison full of soul-sucking wringwraith-esque things for manymany years, one would not be looking too good, even if they're quite attractive under all the grime. I imagined he'd not be his usual pretty self during PoA. Things would be too chaotic for him to take the time to wash his face and such. Same goes for movie Sirius. I promise you all that Gary Oldman looks quite nice when he's not dirty and scruffy, so I imagine that he'll be looking better in the upcomming movies (at least in OotP).
